"Enjoy yourself. It's later than you think." (Chinese Proverb)

This post is not about parenting, or breastfeeding, or co-sleeping. It's about waiting. Or not waiting, as the case may be.

Today Corner Brook is mourning the death of one of its own. A young man was taken all too quickly from this earth, and I can't even begin to think of the despair and anguish that his family and friends are feeling at this time. I hope they find strength in each other and in his memory.

Tonight, a friend posted a video from the current American Idol season that was a real tear-jerker. Her timing could not have been better.

"Waiting for the fish to bite or waiting for wind to fly a kite.  Or waiting around for Friday night or waiting perhaps for their Uncle Jake or a pot to boil or a better break or a string of pearls or a pair of pants or a wig with curls or another chance.  Everyone is just waiting. " Dr. Seuss

Stop waiting. Live. Love. Laugh.

RIP Jason.
